Self-Declaration of Accessibility
Al Boschetto Srl is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Level AA, and in compliance with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (EAA), effective from June 28, 2025.
Scope
This declaration applies to the website: https://www.alboschetto.it/.
Technical measures for accessibility
During the design and development of the website, the following technical measures were adopted to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria:
- Correct semantic structure of the HTML code;
- Consistent heading structure: h1 - h2 – h3 – h4…;
- Keyboard-accessible navigation for menus and all page content;
- Visible and consistent focus on interactive elements;
- Implementation of focus trap on modals, popups, layers, and dialogs, to keep the focus within the active element and prevent it from escaping to the background;
- Meaningful `alt` attributes for all informative images;
- Minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 between text and background;
- Forms and buttons with clear labels, readable by screen readers;
- Use of ARIA roles only when necessary and in a compliant manner;
- Responsive layout, readable on all devices;
- Website text can be resized up to 200% using native browser functions, without loss of readability, access, or functionality;
- Links with contextual and meaningful descriptions (e.g., “Discover the bungalows”). In cases where the visible text is generic (e.g., “Read more”, “Watch”), appropriate aria-label or aria-labelledby attributes have been used on links and buttons to provide a complete and meaningful description for screen reader users;
- Compatibility with screen readers (tested on NVDA, VoiceOver);
- Accessible management of carousels and galleries;
- Presence of the Skip to content link, visible on keyboard focus at the top of the page. This link allows users navigating via keyboard or screen reader to skip directly to the main content, avoiding repetitive blocks such as headers or navigation menus. It activates on the first keyboard tab. The behavior has been tested for compatibility with major browsers and screen readers;
- Use of clear and readable language;
- Visual order and avoidance of “walls of text”.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the requirements of Annex A of the UNI CEI EN 301549 standard due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility, the content listed below is not accessible:
- Attached PDF documents, such as price lists, regulations, or brochures, may not be fully accessible to assistive technologies.
- There is a background video without audio on the homepage, used for decorative purposes to visually introduce the campsite. The video does not contain essential information for understanding the content and does not interfere with navigation or readability. As non-informative content, no transcripts or subtitles are provided. However, playback cannot be paused. The possibility of introducing a pause control will be evaluated for future versions of the website.
Declaration drafting
This declaration was drafted on 17/06/2025.
The assessment was carried out through internal self-assessment, based on:
- Technical analysis using automated tools (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Silktide, WAVE).
- Manual tests and keyboard navigation tests.
